Scott Wilkinson reveals why he does not consider himself an audiophile, which he defines as one who sinks enormous sums of money into the pursuit of audio perfection. Of course, he cares deeply about the quality of audio reproduction, but he also recognizes there is a point of diminishing return. Plus, as a professional performing musician, he knows that no audio system can completely reproduce the sound of live music.
