Hi, recently saw your #18 KnowHow episode and I would like to recommend a better and easier way to make a hackintosh using myHack (http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/), the site explains what parts to get and how to install OS and everything in one place. I've been with hackintoshes since Snow Leopard and in my opinion myHack guide is best, the only thing it lacks is the DSDT database, but you can always use tonymacX86 dsdts or make your own (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/). Hope this info helps.
P.S. Sorry for my English, I'm from Lithuania so English isn't my native language.
