Funko Pop! LED stands with Arduino.
Although the show is no longer in production, you can enjoy episodes from the TWiT Archives.
Do you like Funko Pop! figurines? Do you have a Funko Pop! collection? Or are you co-hosts with somebody with a serious Funko Pop! addiction?
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, then today's "Know How" is for you! With an Arduino, a ring of WS2812 LEDs, and a few 3D-printed parts, we're going to create a disco stand to make your Funko... FUNKY!
Also... there's a 50/50 chance that we burn ourselves.
Project Summary:
Using an Arduino nano and a WS2812 16-LED Ring, we're going to create a universal stand for "FunkoPop" models. The finished project will have two controls for LED brightness and Animation patterns and will can be reprogrammed without dissasembling the unit.
Parts List:
$44.00
But the REAL price (if you're willing to buy in bulk) is closer to $6
3D Parts List
1. FPv4_Base
2. FPv4_Diffuser
3. FPv4_ArduinoHoldDown
4. FPv4_LED Shelf
5. FPv4_ButtonStop
