Mojang pushed out the 1.4.4 prerelease which includes additions like the /enchant command and squids now dying on land. Mojang fixed issues like the TAB key not working on OS X, squids flying, and chests appearing to be open.

Just in time for the holiday season, Minecraft Gift Cards are now available at Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

The curious folks at Mojang want to know your opinion on some very important Minecraft related issues...very important. It's serious business.
