Facebook's Antitrust Charges, Rural Digital Opportunity Fund, Uber & Aurora
Facebook faces a number of antitrust charges from the FTC and state attorneys general, so what's next for the company? Many companies — including SpaceX — are vying for the FCC's Rural Digital Opportunity Fund, but will it help the digital divide? First, Protocol's Emily Birnbaum stops in to explain the antitrust charges being brought against Facebook. These lawsuits have a long road ahead of them.
Then, Joanna Nelius of Gizmodo explains the FCC's Rural Digital Opportunity Fund. The $16 billion grant would be a boon to any company looking to bring internet connectivity to rural locations.
Lastly, Sam Abuelsamid joins Jason and Mikah to talk about his recent Forbes article regarding Aurora's acquisition of Uber's automated driving unit.
