Dreamforce in San Francisco
Kids building Lego robots, chat bots helping businesses, businesses giving back to the community, a Dreampitch competition, and so much more
Salesforce’s annual conference, Dreamforce, has become the largest software conference in the world, and it’s happening in TWiT’s backyard. So Leo sent Megan Morrone, host of iOS Today and Tech News Today, to check it out.
Megan had the opportunity to speak with some kids learning to code. Salesforce has partnered with local public schools and Code.org to teach middle school students how to use code to create jousting LEGO robots. She also spoke with members of the leadership team at Salesforce for Startups, the organization credited with launching the Salesforce Incubator, a program where a dozen startups are mentored by the cloud computing giant. She also spoke with the finalists in the Dreampitch competition, a Shark Tank inspired event!
